I don’t care how inept a police department is, they’re not going to sit around and let an 18 year old girl and her high school friends traipse through potential crime scenes, create search parties, and investigate a possible missing person/murder. It’s wildly unbelievable and yet, somehow, you forget all of that and just pay attention to the fact that Pip has an uncanny way of reading the clues to solve big puzzles no one else can.

Bloody brilliant. I just LOVED this book, I really didn't know how it would end and if the build was even going to lead to something... But the twists and turns and reveals! Gosh! I also didn't expect it to be so sinister, I'm kinda spooked lol

I think I loved this one more than the first! Still the same PLL vibes and I ate it up! The audiobook was great with a full cast and the same narrator for Pip. I loved the twists in this one too! The way Pip’s shock was described and written in the end was so realistic. I think I have a new favorite mystery/thriller series. Onto the next one! 💕

A literal page turner. This book was full of twist and turns. The big reveal had me on the edge of my seat. I was not a fan of the ending and I am worried where Pip is headed in the need book. The wrap up made sense, but I was not a fan.

This book really makes you love Holly Jackson. Her writing style is so creative, her characters engaging, and the themes/tone of her work is so real.

Good Girl, Bad Blood is a sequel that actually got better than the first in the series and I can say it’s largely due to the fact Jackson doesn’t shy away from the nitty gritty. She wrote YA, but she doesn’t gloss over tragedy, heartbreak, or all the ways people can be awful to each other. At the same time, she writes empathetic villains who turn out to maybe not be the villain at all, redemption stories you don’t expect, and the reality of exactly what’s left behind once the mystery is solved. And I LOVE that. I love that she plays with the intricacies of human emotion because nothing is black and white, but even the grey is often sanitized. But this is the grey unapologetically at its smudgiest.

Overall, I also really enjoyed that Pop has that moment where she realizes she doesn’t have to be likable to be herself. It’s a hard lesson, but amazing development. 10/10 would recommend this whole series so far.
