I remembered how much I loved this book as a young girl so I decided to share it with one of my grandchildren. We have been reading it together and just finished tonight. Now, she can't stop crying. I believe her tears are a testament to how this story still touches young minds. The power of friendship is never ending. What a good lesson to learn.
