Though I knew the story, I somehow had never actually read the book until now. It's very sweet.

As crazy as this is, I actually had never read this book before this year. It was the first book my Children/YA Lit class read this semester. I knew the story so I was surprised when I asked my mom if I had ever seen the movie when I was little, and she said I hadn't. I guess I just knew the story because of how popular it is.

Charlotte's Web is just as good as everyone else says it is. It's such a heartbreaking, heartwrenching story that not only teaches morals and a good story, it also has good science-y information about spiders. I learned things about spiders in this book that I had no idea about before! The story is SO good and teaches a lot about friendship and sacrifice. I loved it, and I'm so glad I finally read it.
