This was a fun-ish read but I wish the audio for the meditations at the end were free. It took the wind out of my sails at the end. There are a few on YouTube but I don’t want to deal with the ads.
The biggest takeaway is manifesting is much more science-based than we think. It’s quantum physics. I feel like it’s only going to get more popular. I hear it in the lexicon for non spiritual peeps. Super exciting to see it get more popular.

DNF. Full of “The Secret” bullshit and pseudoscience. What’s worse is that the explanations are presented in a way that sounds scientific to those of us who are not scientists ourselves, but know just enough for it to sound good and accurate. I almost started believing it myself. From the half I read, the most dangerous part of this book is the possibility of false hope and fruitless endeavors; it wasn’t antivax or medicine or anything. Didn’t claim to cure cancer. So it shouldn’t ruin anyone’s life single-handedly, just waste their time. Two stars because the writing itself is fine.
Listened as an audiobook, expired with 3 hours left of the read. My favorite of the year so far. Not what I was expecting in a great way. My jaw frequently dropped open. I’ll either buy a hard copy or buy it on Audible. What he says I’ve heard other places, but the way he says it was a lil different and hit home for me. Our brain, our thinking, is creating our reality. If we focus on bad past memories, that is what our brain will continue to try to protect us from etc. The part about praying for people in the hospital and their better outcomes SHOOK ME. If you’re interested in reading, I’d encourage you to prioritize.
How I rate books:
5 Stars= I absolutely loved it, felt very moved. Extraordinary. Maybe I cried. I rarely give this rating.
4 Stars= Well done. I was well engaged.
3 Stars= I enjoyed it but wasn't wowed. My most common rating
2 Stars=Meh
1 Stars= The kind of book that I feel shouldn't have been published be it might discourage some from becoming readers.

What an incredible read. Very scientific and sometimes dry but the facts covered were perfectly timed for the spiritual journey I embarked on. I finished this book on the way to a retreat and it gave me the scientific backing to have an open mind to everything the retreat introduced me too. I’m excited to reread this at some point to see how my perspective has shifted
I simply cannot. It feels far too much like an incredibly long sales pitch that doesn’t offer an actual product. Lots of “I’ll explain this later” that never actually gets explained. Lots of reaching. I’m glad this has led to breakthroughs for some but it just isn’t for me. I read it purely out of curiosity after seeing some interviews and wanting to learn more about his theories… but early on it felt like more of the same talking in circles without real explanation that I had noticed in the interviews. I assume the interviews are meant to intrigue just enough to sale the books and the books are meant to intrigue a little more to get you to buy into the retreats and so on and so forth. Maybe I’m wrong but I just couldn’t get past the whole lots of talk without much said aspect of it all to find out.
