This book felt very long and while some of it was enjoyable, I was bored a lot too. Middle book energy, mostly setting up for future sequels. 

Also felt a bit more immature than Fourth Wing, esp. because of the repetitive miscommunication trope.

Screaming. Crying. Throwing up. Why did I finish this in 3 days? The first third of the book is slow but then it takes off from there. This book doesn’t cover a whole school year like last time so I’m curious how much time the next three books will cover. Prepare to be thrilled, heartbroken, baffled, and more.
