"Most people never experience love like this. But for us, we get to have it, again and again."
omg so i first heard of this book on a tiktok by the author herself. i knew i had to read it because of the author and her husbands own experience.
i've never really understood the infatuation with Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, but this book has sold me on it completely. this is the kind of book i would recommend to my own lover because it is so genuine and perfectly sums up how a love can transcend space and lifetimes. this is the kind of love i want for myself.
going through all the tragedies during the first half of the book broke my heart :c i was not expecting it to go so fast the second half but i can look past it because sebastien and helene have been soulmates for centuries
