Torn between three and four stars on this one. It was bonkers, and really not very good, but I was having a blast reading it right up until the end, which was a massive let-down

This was a page-turner. Part ghost story, part missing girl story, and set at a college campus, I liked the surprises in this. I thought it was a little too long, but still a good read.

Overall, I really liked this book. When I first finished it, I was kind of annoyed by it, but now that I've slept on it, I quite liked it. I still think that the last section could have been left off and the book would have been better, but really, it's quite good. Some of the characters really annoyed me, but I think that was their reason to exist! It's not quite as creepy as I would have hoped, but there definitely are some very creepy moments. Overall, quite good and I'll look for more by this author.

I read excitedly for 440 pages only to be disappointed by a 20 page wrap up that was completely bogus. So very bummed about this one.

A pretty decent book...with an extremely lackluster ending. Boo to that.

Really enjoyed the plot, the writing, and the characters. I’m just left feeling disappointed at the ending. And I understand, not all mysteries are solved, and I think it’s fine that the main characters never truly figured things out. But I think one final chapter with Nicole(?) or even Josie as the narrator would have brought this novel full circle as a reader.

It was different, I'll give it that. I don't think it lived up to it's potential and the ending felt too rushed. Overall, it was good but not great.

Hated the ending! Otherwise it was quite good though a little over the top.

It started off slow, but engaging. It had a lot of promise, and intrigued me. Then it had me ready to toss it across the room when I came to the end. There so many unbelievable strings left hanging that I was frustrated and disgusted with myself for having wasted a day reading it.

I won't go over the premise, that's been done in all the reviews. I will however tell you how it ends, o don't read this if you want to read the novel.
Spoilerthe ghost that is sen around town really is Nicole. She didn't die. The sorority faked her death and replaced the body with another girl, who died during a hazing. At the end, she is caught...but Perry is unfortunately shot (offscreen) and can't tell everyone. The whole book wound down in about 2 pages. Perry sees Nicole, then we move to a prologue where he is dead, and we see how everyone le off years later.

Nicole's family moved away and disappeared. So apparently her whole family was in on it. Why?? I don't get it the whole premise doesn't make sense
