Normaal vind ik boeken leuker dan de serie of film. Maar deze serie was beter dan het boek. In de serie hebben ze de cringy delen van het boek eruit gehaald en juist hele mooie emotionele delen die er in het boek niet zijn toegevoegd. Daarom maar de 3 sterren ookal was het boek leuk serie is gwn beter

The ending makes me think that it is not meant to be read as a standalone.
I listened to the audiobook on 2x speed, otherwise I would not have made it through.
I picked it randomly from my library without knowledge or thought. I don't think it's written particularly skillfully or stands out to me (except for the ending which surprised me as a choice though not written with much surprise in the sense of suspense). It's just not for me.
But if you knowingly choose this, I can see how fans of this kind of book will enjoy it.

Ik was even vergeten hoeveel sneller ik lees in het Nederlands! Vanochtend begonnen aan het boek en nu heb ik hem uit. Ik wilde dit boek graag lezen omdat ik de serie leuk vond. Complimenten naar de makers van de serie, gezien ze echt het boek aangehouden hebben. Dit boek leest lekker door, er zit niet super veel diepgang in, maar dat is oké!
Het tempo is lekker snel en er zitten leuke karakters in. Ik vind vooral Ruby erg leuk! Ze doet me veel aan mezelf denken haha. Ik ga zeker boek 2 en 3 nog proberen te lezen voor seizoen 2 uitkomt!

Pakkende verhaallijn! Mix van gilmore girls en gossip girl is herkenbaar. Boek in een ruk uitgelezen, meteen door met deel 2!

Avendo già visto la serie per me è stata un po’ una ripetizione. È una di quelle storie stereotipate, lei brava ragazza con difficoltà economiche, lui riccone i cui unici interessi sono lo sport e le feste. È un libro che si deve prendere per quello che è, quindi non un capolavoro letterario, ma per passare un paio di pomeriggi lo consiglio. È molto veloce, semplice e la storia fra i due non è così ovvia e ripetitiva. Sono curiosa di continuare la serie.
