Not the best book i've ever read but it's so addictive. I watched the series first so it helped picturing the characters and the places, which was probabley an asset. 
Nothing cringe or problematic in the interactions between Ruby and James, the sex scene is well written and the plot, though predictable (but i mean it's a romance, you know what you signed up for) makes sense. 
I just don't understand why Lydia's relationship is never questionned... It is so innapropriate ?? I hope it will be criticized in the next book

Wieder so jemand, der ähnliche Ideen hat wie ich. Nun ja, auch hier habe ich mich erst gesträubt, war verwirrt wegen Maxton Hall COLLEGE soll eine private High School sein (hatte mir während des Lesens aber auch das britische Schulsystem auf YT erklären lassen, von Joel&Lia), aber gut, kann man so hinnehmen. Ganz gut, auch wenn mir ihre Schwester voll auf den Zeiger geht. Sie ist wie ein perfekter Charakter, der einem einfach zu perfekt vorkommt. Sie hat ihre guten Momente, aber auch ihre schlechten. Trotzdem ein gutes Buch!
