The only story I liked was Taj McCoy’s. I might have enjoyed the others I’d Adenrele Ojo had narrated the entire book. Instead each story had its own narrator. It’s not that the narrators were bad, they just didn’t fit. Because of that I couldn’t get into the stories.

I did side eye the timing of the sex scene in Taj’s story. People all over the world have taken shelter in bunkers because sirens are going off signaling the world is possibly ending. The MCs and their team are responsible for the warning detection system. They are the only ones who know the sirens are a false alarm. Yet they take time out of working on getting the system shut down to deal with their personal issues and have sex.
