A great one to read to your kids.
I have such fond memories of my second grade teacher reading this that when I saw it in the library I had to pull it for my (pre-K) son. It's a bit of a stretch read but not really. There are some dated technology references and formal language but he liked it so well he asked to read rather than watch Saturday morning cartoons.

I read this book with my 3rd graders...boy, did we laugh! We truly enjoyed it!

My 9yr old boy gives it 4.5 ☆ because he enjoyed the silliness of the book. I give it 3☆ because I thought the book just plain silly.

I gave this five stars because this is a book is meant for children and I can feel that through and through. However, if you an adult trying to read this you really have to like children's literature. It just doesn't translate to older readers, which is not bad because it was meant for kids :)

This is a great book to get kids to visualize the story line. It is comical and just adds the comical element of trained penguins to every day life. One of my favorite to read out loud to the kids.
