Sehr spicy, aber mit sehr tollem drum herum. Rue als Protagonistin ist diesmal recht ungewöhnlich. Vor allem durch Elis Perspektive erscheint sie teilweise fast unsympathisch. Aber schonungslose Ehrlichkeit und die Hauptfigur ist groß? Count me in (Repräsentation ist wichtig und richtig). Die Beziehung bzw. Annährung zwischen den beiden war auch besonders. Eigentlich war alles besonders - und (ganz) anders als ihre restlichen Bücher. Ein echt gutes Buch! Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack hätte es aber auch weniger spicy Beschreibungen geben können lol. Nichtsdestotrotz mochte ich die Geschichte von Rue und Eli (inklusive der Sichtbarmachung von Frauen in Mintfächern und der Anspielung auf Mallory und Nolan aus Checkmate). Und bin gespannt auf "Problematic Summer Romance", das sich tatsächlich auch problematic anhört.

I enjoyed this a lot! The romance and the smut was good and the plot was solid too which is sometimes not the case for romances. I wish the dog had featured more 😁 but I liked the non-traditional type of romance in this. I also liked how the FMC was just unapologetically herself and not like other romance FMCs.
