Este libro fue de los primeros que leí, y fue, principalmente el que me introdujo en lo que es el mundo literario. Así que sabrán que para mi, este libro es mas que hermoso, porque te demuestra como, a pesar de las dificultades y situaciones en la que los personajes se encuentran, se puede amar, se puede tener aunque sea un poco de felicidad.
Una de las cosas que mas me gustaron de este libro, fue la mentalidad de Hazel, aunque, como todos sabemos, era un poco depresiva, también era realista y cruda. Miraba las situaciones desde una perspectiva realista, como debían de ser y eso para mi es algo de admirar, ya que no todas las personas tenemos ese tipo de perspectiva.
Definitivamente Hazel, fue mi personaje favorito de esta maravillosa historia
Este es un libro definitivamente de mucho análisis, lleno de muchas metáforas y simbologia, que si le tomamos un momento para analizar, nos llevaremos una increíble sorpresa y mucho aprendizaje debido a la variedad que tiene el libro en si, con las diferentes historias de cada personaje.
En si, para mi, este es un libro muy hermoso, definitivamente le doy mas que 5 estrellas

Opinión personal: Bajo la misma estrella es una novela que trata de acercarnos un tema muy presente en nuestras vidas pero que hasta ahora siempre ha sido algo tabú: el cáncer. Con una escritura sencilla, amena y emotiva, John Green nos narra la historia de amor de Hazel y Gus, cómo es su día a día y cómo es su relación. Con un humor algo negro, y diálogos algo forzados en ocasiones, Hazel nos narrará su vida, y nos hará formar parte de ella descubriéndonos un punto de vista en el que a lo mejor nunca habíamos pensado. Eso sí, para mi gusto, todas las críticas excelentes me han hecho esperar mucho más de esta novela.

★x4 | (A-) 92% | AGES 17+ | Surprisingly good. I’d heard a lot of reviews and reactions about this book. Seen Paul Rudd’s Ant Man cry to it in his sequel, and heard people rave about how much they cried while reading it. And I have to say, if he didn’t make such profound though-provoking statements that made me rethink my life every chapter, this book would have just been “great.” But instead it’s a “Great.” Period. It’s fantastic. But it does have s*x in it, inappropriate talk, and cussing in it (one f-bomb), so please don’t let your children read this.
| Characters - ★x4 | Hazel and Augustus, our two main characters (and the occasional Isaac who holds a dear place in my heart just as much as the main characters). I think they are solid characters, and well built. I appreciate their sense of humor. (Very similar to mine.)

| Writing - ★x4 | This writing is...a delight. It’s a bit different from the books I usually read (which are fantasy, so duh it’s a different style) but I still found this entertaining and very realistic, whereas fantasy is constantly defying our realities.
Should you read this? I think the question is “Did this live up to your expectations?” A lot of people LOVE this book, others think it’s “okay.” But I decided to see for myself, lingering somewhere between those two. So did it exceed my purposefully lowered expectations. Kind of. John Green exceeded my expectations, for sure.

This book was an easy read, and funny, sad, and thoughtful. I liked the honesty of the characters
Despite the fact that the book is about teenagers with cancer, it reminded me of the time I spent with my mother when she was dying. Severe illness affects your view on the world and changes what you think is important and what is not. In some ways your world becomes smaller as day-to-day living becomes so hard for the patient but their impending death also emphasizes the good things about life.
Interesting that as I read this book I identified with Hazel despite the fact that I have children her age. It would probably have been painful to read the book if I had identified with the parents.

Such amazing writing and a laugh out loud, tear jerker story
There’s no way to explain how this book made me feel and there’s no way i could ever forget it. The fault in our stars isn’t a love story neither is it a sad one nor a happy one. It’s all that and everything in between
