This is not my favorite read. Interesting enough to see what happens next but there were a lot of issues. Lots of typos, a lot of repetitiveness (esp the spicy scenes), and it felt like the relationships were rushed, although I like the result of the reverse harem itself and how weirdly cute they are.

Just feels like it has more potential and I’m hoping the next book is an improvement. This kind of book feels like it needs a good mix of character and plot focus but the plot felt like a second thought to the romance. So given the ending I’m hoping the plot moves forward a bit more now.

“I will always come looking for you, Angel, and I would burn the whole world down to find you.”

When you're scrolling thru bookstagram and you saw someone recommending some spicy dark romance that includes mafias and quotes that say "You sure you can handle all four of us at one, sweetheart?", you grab a copy of that book and read it. You don't even have to know what that book is about because you just wanna watch that part of the story unfold. But sadly, when I actually read through it, I unexpectedly wanted more - who the characters are, how it came about and what the story is actually about. So as of writing, I'm currently at the third book of the series. I only wanted to read one part of the book and now I'm halfway thru the series. To be honest, this ain't a book you want to grab if you know what the story is about. I mean, if it was the old me who hasn't read any dark romances, I wouldn't but since I'm already out of my comfort zone, here I am. And fortunately, it paid of because here I am, already at the third book.

I love all the characters involved - especially the Ryan brothers, because who can't love them? They're all so loveable. You can also see all POVs because it's a quadruple POV book! You can easily see what everybody is thinking and feeling and that would give you a deeper connection to each character. I love Connor, specially. But to be honest, I really can't pick out of all four of them. They all love Jessie and it's being reciprocated. It's a little bit difficult to understand given that it's not really an open relationship since it's closed between just the five of them and I think this is one one of the reasons why I'm still reading thru the series.

Overall, I had fun reading this and would probably retain as one of the "memorable" books and I'm planning to finish the series as well. But I doubt I'll recommend this to people since it's a little hard to explain the appeal if they are closed-minded.

This was so good and I had zero idea it was a reverse harem until several chapters in. Absolutely loved it but I wish we had gotten more with the twins. I’m intrigued with the plot and learning more about what happened to her family and the Wolf. I’ll definitely be binging the hell out of this.

I went down the New York Ruthless rabbit hole this month because I was craving some reverse harem content, and it's been a while since I've read a book with it in there. I've been seeing people on social media talk about it, and I picked up this first book. I loved meeting Jessie, and to be fair, I love how she met the Ryan brothers. That was hilarious, and I loved the brothers so much! This series is centered all around this harem, so we don't get a happy ending in this book. Instead, we were left on a cliffhanger, and I immediately had to pick up the next book as soon as I finished this book! So if you are curious about this book, go in prepared to read the whole series! It is a mafia story as well, so it is on the darker side, but I loved that we got to see Jessie in her element because she is a phenomenal hacker, and we got to see a lot of that in the first book
