Verrry creepy, but still manages to have lighthearted moments.

great mysteries and otherworldly threats, the protagonist was a bit millennial redditor coded for my taste though

Another fun story from T. Kingfisher. I'm slowly making my way through her weird and wonderful back catalogue. This is a perfect popcorn read - just good fun. Not particularly "scary" but another fun exploration of normal people in extraordinary circumstances. I would quite like to visit Uncle Earl's strange old museum, but without the portal, thanks!
