The concept for this book was incredible but the story kinda lost its steam for me past the halfway mark. Still good though.
This was fun to read. Fast pace, cool concept. The romance was a bit clumsy and didn't having me shipping them, which may have been intended because of the reveal. I also feel that things were hurriedly solved in the end. It was a bit too easy shutting down the body bank and getting backers to help. Things went a bit too smoothly. There is still some mystery to get me to read the next one but there are flaws in this first book. I don't know if I buy the sudden turn around that Blake was a donor because there was the scar and if he wanted to make sure Callie/Helena wouldn't kill why invite her to the event where his supposed grandfather was? And why not intervene when she spilled about the body bank and wanting to shut it. Old man/Blake didn't care if grandpa died as long as the deal was done first? Then why not stop Callie from shooting in the first place, awfully passionate for an associate to jump to save his life, good acting/desperation? Sure they didn't think she'd shoot, but if it was that important he not die, wouldn't old man try to avoid that situation? Unless the deal was already done? But then why save him? Lots of questions, somewhat confusing timeline with the plot twist reveals.
Also it may have been a little too convenient for her to be adopted AND inheritance from Helena but hey I guess she deserved a win.
It was pretty stupid for Callie to be doing frivolous bull with Blake etc with the stakes. She helped her bro a bit but for the most part was caught up in conspiracy (fair) and such a basic meaningless infatuation (unreasonable). And then considering rekindling because he still looks pretty? Come on! Maybe approach Michael? Someone you actually know and have teamed up with while roughing it.

Original, de narrativa excelente, con un dilema ético de aquellos... esta ha sido una historia para subrayar desde el principio al fin. Lo había leído ya en el 2014 y ahora hice relectura para poder empezar el segundo con la memoria renovada. Sin embargo, más que despertar recuerdos me ha permitido gozar de esos detalles que hacen de esta historia una distopía para poner en vitrina donde la "madurez" de los adultos queda desnuda ante la vanidad y el instinto de supervivencia.
Thrilling, action packed, romantic. This is one of the best books I have ever read ( and that says a lot because I read a lot ). This story is just so well written with perfect details about every character that is mentioned. Lissa Price just had one of the most amazing ideas, and it clearly showed throughout the whole story. You never get confused about what she is describing beacuse she does it with such care and compassion. And let's just take a minute and think about the ending. It was amazing. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone...

OMG Que puedo decir de este libro??? Hmm esté libro es muy perfecto es extremadamente fácil de leer, la portada es bastante llamativa
Lo que más me gustó del libro es que es rapidísimo no anda con tantos rodeos, no dice ridiculeces como: "me levanté y me cepille, revise mi cabello y me mire unas cuantas veces en el espejo" NO este libró va al grano a lo importante lo que logra que nunca te aburra y que al final de cada capítulo te deje una mirada de asombro.
