I’m just not feeling drawn to this book. While I like the writing style these kids don’t read as sixteen plus aged kids to me, they read as like thirteen year olds and that’s all I can think about while reading jt.

I really enjoyed this book and I want to re-read it before I post a more thorough review. The one critique I have is that it got confusing towards the end. Maybe it’s me and my ADHD but the time slips and characters became almost too much to keep track of. Maybe I’ll understand that bit better when I reread it. Overall I loved it, ward continues to be one of my fave authors!

Wondering if I would have enjoyed this more if I read it instead of listening. The male narrator's English accent was so bad it really took me out of the story. And the Maine accent was more Boston. I also disliked the main character - but again, I think that may have been the narrator's fault. On the positive side, the writing is wonderful and the plot very clever. I would recommend, but not the audiobook. Read it instead.
