I read this book because I loved The Selection series when I was younger and my tween niece is reading them now, so I thought this would be a fun book to relate on. This is very much a young adult book but it made me remember how much Kiera Cass made me enjoy reading as a stubborn teen. I instantly fell in love with the story line and characters that she set up and reminded me of opportunistic youth where nothing can stop you if you’re intentions are good and you work hard enough for it. I really look forward to talking about this with my niece, thank you Kiera!
