Sweet baby Alessio deserves the entire world!!

I really really enjoyed this book! I will admit that I did not think I was going to love it as much as I did because in my head there was no topping book three and the relationship of Gia and Enzo. And although Alessio and Guilio did not beat them, I really loved them anyway.

I was surprised at how sweet this one was compared to the rest of the series. Despite it being about a man having a sniper try to kill him repeatedly, there was something about the two of them that had me swooning right away.
The spice was, as always with Finelli’s books, absolutely amazing. I always love her balance of plot and spice and this one did not disappoint.

While it was not my favorite book in the series, it was still amazing!

4.5 stars.

3.5! Exciting and definitely worth the read, but wanted a bit more.

Somehow, I had a much better time than I was expecting.

This felt like a movie I was invested in from the start. A gorgeous man/son took a sniper's breath away, causing him to miss the target, the father. Then he's asked to kill his crush. They play cat and mouse before he falls in love. I was ready. The tension. The communication. The sex.

Thankfully, I was hardly confused when I saw new faces and names and the foreign language.

I enjoyed the dirty talks. The family dynamic. The missions. The secrets. The willingness to help each other. To die for each other. They fall in love.

OMG, I can not describe how happy this book made me. I have loved Giulio ever since the first book. He is such a character but he loves his family and it’s just hard to find the right place. So when he left his father I was extremely ready to read more about him. Did I expect a really freaking hot snipper to show up and rile everything up? Yeah No, but do I absolutely live for Alessio and Julio now? 100%! They have both not had an easy past and it looks like the future might not look any different. The one thing that is different though, they might just light a Light for each other. And that makes their story incredible!
