Where to start, Violet and Alex’s story is full of ups and downs and I loved every minute of it. Plus that spice dang I was not expecting that much amazingness so it was a wonderful surprise. Violets had bad experiences with hockey boys before so she’s sworn them off which is easier said then done since her step-brother happens to play on an NHL team so she’s sorta always surrounded by them. Then enters hot hockey captain Alex Waters, Violet wants nothing to do with an arrogant hockey player even if he has a face a body of a greek god, just because everything serious is off the table doesn’t mean she can’t have some fun with mister playboy bachelor right? what the heck I can’t believe he said they were just friends but her voice mail I also died of laughter hilarious such a bad ass move I was really proud of violet there and super pissed at Alex im glad Buck beat his ass on live tv lol 😂

. Also what a cute happy ending swoon but the scene right before died of laughter and then was like wow hot. Because wow Helena Hunting really out did herself with this book and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series 🥰

Alex Waters and Violet Bell have my heart. The mom Skye is so funny as well as Sunny. They are also my favorite characters. First off, loved this book. Didn't think I would. Started off steamy but Im glad that was the sole plot of this book. We definitely see a character growth with Violet and how her past relationships have affected her and her thoughts of hockey men. That is until she meets Alex Waters. On social media he is this fuckboy who enjoys the company of various puck bunnies but it turns out that not everything is what it seems as she gets to know him. It's doesn't help that her stepbrother, Buck and him are teammates so their relationship is tested once the tabloids are involved. I loved both of the characters development and yes I was frustrated at times with them and their flaws it made it much better for the ending. Definitely interested on continuing the series because I love these characters as well as their relationship. I'm sorry Alex is Canadian🤣🤣🤣. Their inside joke: Beaver is the funniest thing ever.
