Take Me Down was an engaging and enjoyable read. That had a touch of emotion and a nice mix of sweetness, heat and likable characters. Yet, it didn't grab me like Sebastian and Sierra's stories did. Mainly because I didn't feel that connection with the two leads, particularly Emily and the pace of the story wasn't quite there. Plus, there seemed to be a lot going on and I just felt like it was missing something more. But it was undeniably quick and easy to read, and I did like the new characters introduced. And I have to say I'm excited for Ethan's story, as by the end of this he had well and truly cemented himself as an asshole in need of redemption. And I would happily recommend it to others.

I absolutely loved this book. Emily was extremely relatable to me being that I’m a daddy’s girl at heart just as she was. I loved the emotional turmoil they both worked through together. They were a clear picture of what love really is. Your problems don’t just go away, you work with you’re partner to get through them. I think the author captured this very well. I’d recommend this to anyone who wanted a sweet, HOT, read that makes your heart wrench, then explode with happiness!

Another fabulous book in the Knight Brothers series! Carly Phillips has given us yet another couple to love with Take Me Down, a short sweet read full of emotion!

Parker and Emily were a great couple. Their chemistry was amazing, the banter between the two was fun to read and I loved watching their relationship develop through the course of the book. It was truly an engaging story and I’m excited for the next book in the series!

Cute and a quick read. Cheesy, but who doesn’t love a cheesy Romance novel? ❤️

This is the second book in the Knight Brothers series and definitely one of my favorites! Parker Knight is just hands down swoon-worthy..... he's sex on a stick hot, compassionate, thoughtful but what happens when he meets a woman that lights a fire in him? Emily has sworn off men, especially after the hell she's been through.... that is until she meets Parker Knight! Parker and Emily know their time is limited with his business in New York and hers in Colorado but they plan to make the most of it and enjoy each other. Their story is sweet, sexy and one that will have you cheering for them to find love again in each other!

Take Me Down is an opposites attract romance. If you are looking for an easy and quick read with a lot of banter, this book is for you. The story revolves around two people who are not sure what they want, where they want to be and what they want to do with their lives. Parker our hero, was a little interesting for me. At times I thought he was very sweet yet dominant (the perfect combination in my opinion) but at other times I felt that he was just a complete a**hole at the same time. Things that he said and did put me off. I’m not sure if that’s because of what he went through in his early life of not but it agitated me. I do think his sweetness and outlook on things made me like him more than I originally thought I would. Emily our heroine, was supposed to come off as strong headed and Feisty, But I just found her extremely bitchy. I really could not connect with her by any means. Her overall story was touching and I could understand her predicament when Parker shows up into her life. She didn’t want to be put into another situation where she could get seriously hurt again. I just feel that I couldn’t connect with Emily. I find it hard for me to like a book when I can’t connect with the heroine, for me it just makes reading the story difficult. You could tell that both Parker and Emily definitely knew how to get on each other’s nerves. Their bantering and bickering with each other was fun and it was great watching them get closer with each other as the story progressed. Overall I really enjoyed the description of everything. I felt like I was actually in Colorado with the characters as watching the story unfold.

Overall I liked the story and give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ½ stars.
