I have such conflicting feelings about this series. And many similar issues that I had in book one. I think I enjoyed this one more than book one but it's mostly because I like Mack and he's the reason I continued with the series in the first place. That being said, I have a lot of issues with Liv and her approach to a lot of situations. I struggle to feel real chemistry between the characters... which is something else I felt while reading book one but even moreso this time. The steamy scenes were a bit... lackluster if I'm being honest and I wish we had more of the bookclub. That being said I am curious to see what happens next!
