I liked listening to this as an audio book. It's a supernatural mystery and I prefer cozier, but I did like hearing the story. I liked the characters, though I never fell in love with them. The world was pretty cool. The mystery had some good twists and turns.

Im so glad my pall jess passed me this book and told me I’d like it. By Jove she was right.

Amie’s debut novel is right up my alley and then some. The characters easily slotted themselves into my imagination as did the ‘downside setting’ the mystery was mysterying and the plot twist was plot twisting.
I especially adore P and would proudly ride into battle for her. She’s kinda everything. I hope P knows that I like her wellies and I sure hope she’ll share her crisps with me. 💚
