The punch lines were repetitive and I wasn't able to relate that much to the comics. I mean, I'm all for celebrating being lazy—I agree that being unabashedly self-indulgent is necessary from time to time, especially in this culture where hustling and overworking is glorified (#thegrindneverstops). Also, it's not like I'm some sort of productivity monster. In fact, I read this book to procrastinate on assignments due last week and I also have days where I just binge around and skip working out.

I just don't like the way it's represented here. I find the way the persona forces exercise and healthy eating as unsustainable such that if this approach continues, then it's no wonder that the persona is constantly guilty for not being 'healthy' nor 'productive' enough. Being 'healthy' is a lifestyle which means it would eventually fall apart if you don't like your approach—or at least, your definition of it.

Maybe I'm just being nitpicky because the contents were just what the synopsis say. Nevertheless, the only redeeming factor here for me is the art, especially the dog. (doggo!!)

Maybe this simply just isn't for me.

3 stars for corgi appearances.

Love it.
Found loooottttt of similarities with slothilda the sloth. ( except the exercise part I'm totally TOTALLY like slothilda

This was so witty and adorable, I chuckled a lot while reading this one. Slothilda is officially my spirit animal.

If you struggle with procrastination and your desire to succeed in life is always at war with your temptation to sloth away, this is the book for you.

Very unimpressive tbh. Cute though

This was a very cute illustrated quite to the 'sloth life'. Some of the comics made me chuckle and I'm a big fan of the sweet drawing style and soft colours. I would have liked a few longer/more in depth comic strips, but I did enjoy a lot of these, especially the ones that included Slothilda's dog, Peanut.
