#4 in the Judy Moody series.

She has to eat seven bowls of cereal, but Judy finally finds the treasure at the bottom of the cereal box - a mood ring that she is convinced will give her the power to predict the future. Judy (now called Madame M) predicts that she will earn an A on her spelling test without studying. Sadly, her vision doesn't work out the way she planned. When she makes the biggest prediction of all - that Mr. Todd is in love - will she be right?

After reading one of the newer additions of the series (Judy Moody goes to college) towards the end of last year, there was a great desire to re-visit this series which was one of my favourites when I was younger. Whilst designed for children to read, I think it speaks to anyone of any age to read back over what it was like to be that age. And McDonald captures it perfectly. So much nostalgia!

Nunca me cansaré de leer estos libros, siempre me causan sonrisas y carcajadas

When Judy finally wins a mood ring in her cereal she becomes obsessed with predicting the future. Claiming she can predict the future everyone in her class are amazed. But when things don’t go exactly as planned, Judy has to make a strong comeback. For this comeback she must prepare for her biggest prediction yet. In this story the reader goes on a crazy journey with Judy about what the future holds. The plot was really well executed, and exciting. The reader didn’t know where the story was going, which is what made it a really fun read. The characters were well written and developed. Judy is relatable and full of life, giving the story that extra bit of cheeriness. This novel was a lovely addition to the Moody series.
