Do you want to spend an hour-ish with a hot monster romance/erotica?
Me too.
I never thought this humidity-loving northerner would find the desert sooo HOT (hehe).

All of the stars for making ghouls hot.

Sexy, fast-paced, and addictive. I could not put this spicy novella down. The characters were well-drawn and fully realized—impressive for such a short piece of fiction. I especially enjoyed the overtones of shared vulnerability and emotion between the main character and her love (lust) interest. And who wouldn’t want an honorable lover who vows to eat the ones who have hurt you? Swoon. A wonderful, well-written read with the perfect balance of on-page steam and a propulsive plot to carry the heat.

I really liked the evocative, vivid writing of this one, setting the scene for Mina’s situation as well as a greater sense of the surrounding environs. I also really enjoyed the twist on the “captured by a monster” archetype, where he is devouring her…but in a different, much more mutually enjoyable way.
