★x4 | (A-) 90% | AGES 14+ | I’m sure everyone says this in the reviews but this honestly felt like such a fever dream. Everything felt like I was remembering this through a haze and I was freaking impressed.

| Storyline - ★x4 | A little anti-climactic in the end, but that’s just because it wasn’t like a « GASP » , it was more like a « oh, okay…OH…OH OH OKAY…OH WOW…OH I seee…… » Yeah, I hope that made sense. The mystery unraveled like a cinnamon role. Sweet and savory as a whole, and leaves you feeling a little queasy once you’ve finished.

Should you read this? Yes. I say yes because it is unlike a lot o books I’ve read and also because it’s relatively short. Quick and easy evening. Plus, you gotta love a good murder mystery.

The writing style is like static, choppy and plain annoying to read. The very little plot was bland, incredibly cliché, and predictable. I felt no connection with any of the characters, even the main one since none of the characters were fleshed out. To me the book felt pretentious, trying to be more complex and failing dramatically.
I love how this book was written, the fourth part of the book particularly is great. I found it to be a quick, intriguing read and I’ll definitely read more from this author.
