There is mentioned misgendering, and one character avoiding pronouns entirely instead of using "they" for one of the main characters.spiritedfaraway's review against another edition

Every world has its monsters.
Okay, that? That was super fun. I’m going to be diving into the second book as soon as I get my grubby little hands on it.
Finna follows two recently broken-up exes as they have to travel through the multiverse to find an elderly grandmother, who slipped through a wormhole while exploring an IKEA-like store. I feel like giving any more away would be spoiling, but I found this short novella about personal growth, retail hell, and monsters very entertaining and thought-provoking. Plus, it's queer.
LitenVärld accepts no responsibility or liability for any losses or injuries that wormholes incur, since they fall under the Act of God clauses on our employee insurance.
Moderate: Transphobia, Toxic relationship, Violence, Murder, Grief, Gore, Death, Cursing, Blood, Medical content, and Mental illness

It’s an anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-transphobic, anti-capitalist, thought-provoking romp which strikes just the right balance between explaining stressful stuff and depicting an escape from it. The romantic relationship is over before the story starts, and it helps convey a raw feeling, an uncertainty, because while the reader doesn’t already know all of why it didn’t work out, the shape is familiar. The world-building is really good for such a short book.
Moderate: Violence and Gore
Minor: Racism, Sexism, Transphobia, and Death
CW for racism (minor), sexism (minor), transphobia (minor), discussion of misgendering, violence, gore, death.
