This was a fun read, it was far wittier than I was anticipating. I really enjoyed the “case to be solved” element, I thought it added some fun to the plot. I do think the ending with Freame and all that was rushed and I wanted it to be more dramatic and higher stakes, but alas. I love of a couple who are well matched and Clara and Raven are certainly that.
Childish FMC, arrogant MMC. An off-putting combination, even if it's not terribly written.
This is my friends favorite regency drama author, and one of her favorite books! Although regency isn’t my fave, I definitely enjoyed this one and don’t mind having read it!

This would have been an easy 5 stars if it was just the romance. But 75% of the way in, the villains started getting POVs, and that was a bummer. Such a shame that the plot went nuclear when all I wanted was more of the characters in their smug married era

A fun little read. I think I would've liked it more if I read it upon first read instead of listening to it in audiobook form. MMC is kind of a prick sometimes, I would've liked to see a stronger arc through that. A little groveling A la Lord of Scoundrels?
Notes to self: enjoyed the mains, good action, was curious about some parts they didn’t expand on. Felt it ended abruptly. Would recommend, but still a 3.5 stars. No need to read again.

Not that into. I liked other books by this author a lot but this one was blah. It was too long and the MMC was kind of a dick. Also all her FMC kind of feel the same.
It was soooo boring and sloooowwwwww. It just kept dragging on and on and on.
