4.5 stars. Percy Jackson telling us about Greek heroes? Amazing. I love Percy's narration. My only con is that we did not get any stories on Achilles or Odysseus. Does this mean we will eventually get a Percy Jackson's Iliad and Odyssey?? I hope so, that would be awesome!

I love Riordan's take on Greek mythology. It's a topic that many of us are drawn into after learning about it in primary school, and his books have such good humour and fun in them. The voice of Percy Jackson adds a lot to this book, as the absurd mythology seen through the eyes of a sarcastic teen. This book both makes fun of Greek Mythology and is very educational and informative about its history.
