The riddle of the yellow room was interesting enough but the writing made me feel bored after the first thirty pages. And so I quickly lost interest in finding out who did it.

This was a solid 4 star book. I did not see the ending coming at all. I am definitely going to read more adventures of Joseph Rouletabille.
This is what I like less in a detective book: not revealing the clues until the very end and therefore, myself, the reader, has no chance to investigate in the same time, given the same clues.
