This is the first Austen book I've ever managed to finish and I really enjoyed it, it's even inspired me to go back and finish others I'd given up on. I enjoyed how relatable some of the characters were even now, and I found myself actively rooting for (and against) some of them.

This is my second Jane Austen, and I absolutely adored this.

Austen is just so charming and her sense of humor is amazing in this one. The gothic satire is also well done and the final line of this novel really nails down the whole point of this novel. Just so so good likeee

I’m aiming to read Emma next, since I just know Persuasions gonna show up in my reading list next semester
