Quite a bit of this book went over my head since I'm not smart enough to understand even the basic mathematics discussed in this book, but I found this book fascinating as a cosmology layman. I can't say that I'm any closer to understanding how exactly the universe will end, but I did learn the multiple ways in which it could happen.
