Ce que j'aime bien dans les livres très longs c'est qu'on laisse la place pour approfondir chaque intrigue ET J'AI ADORÉ CE LIVRE surtout que je l'ai étudié en cours ce qui me fait l'aimer encore +

Even though I had to read it for a school project, I have to admit I looked forward to reading it. It started out kind of slow and difficult to get into, but later I found that I was unable to put it down. I enjoyed the romance and love story between Jane and Rochester, but also the Christian influence on Jane's decisions and actions ( which is the thesis of the paper I have to write with this book ). All in all, it was a great book with a story that left me wanting to know what was coming next after each shocking revelation I encountered in this story,

I loved this book. I didn’t expect to, and went into it so cynically, having tried to read it 2 or 3 times before and never finishing. But I loved it this time. The characters are so well done. Thematically there is so much going on and so much to think about. I was so emotionally invested in this story in a way that surprised me. Minus points for still being kinda boring and long. So much description, and the writing is not normally enough to keep that completely interesting. But the language has its moments. Overall wow. Still surprised I liked it so much!
