Seriously can't get over how good this series in. Each book seems to be as good as the previous. I'll be sad when the series ends.

This is book 6 in the series and does not disappoint. Irene is her usual strong independent self with her wonderful Kai by her side.

Mr Nemo is a dodgy character but all fae seem to be when it comes to librarians and dragons. Even with the treaty there are still tensions in the different worlds. Different worlds working to get a something very valuable is going to be interesting, will they do it successfully and manage not to kill each other in the process (that's for me to know and you to find out).

I can't say enough how good this book is and the Narrater is perfect for the telling of the story.

This one had an Ocean's Eight feel to it with the hacking and the heisting, and the group that was just kind of thrown together somewhat unwillingly to accomplish a task that kept getting more and more difficult. So far I feel like each one of these books gets wrapped up nicely at the end. They each feel like individual adventures with the same characters and common themes, it's nice to be left wanting more while also feeling content.

The epilogue was very intriguing and I hope that the set up doesn't fail in it's delivery. Like the other books I don't like the pacing of a slow 75% and then a fast rest of the book, but I'm enjoying the characters and it's an easy audiobook to get through

It's a heist book! Our favorite librarian aka professional book thief finally gets her heist story. And if you take away the flying dragons and magic, it's almost a fast and furious novel with car chases, guns and violence.

As far as filler goes, this is pretty much a standalone novel. We do get to meet Irene's parents for the first time but it was a downer. I mean, spies don't tell secrets and expecting some revelation was probably wrong of me.

But the stories move along. Our characters grow more and there is a war brewing somewhere and we are barreling headlong towards it

As with all the other books in the series, I started reading and I couldn't stop. It helped that there was an exciting heist, but the revelations about dragonkind and the surprise agreement at the end of the book (which I will let you find out about) left me wringing my hands until Winter 2020!

Definitely start this series from the beginning to understand the evolution of the relationships. It will be a much more satisfying read.
