I thought they did a wonderful job on this book. You really got to know Bethany and see her personality shine through. I love how it stayed true to how she was feeling and didn’t sugar coat anything.

Bethany is an aspiring woman and her story is incredible. It’s been years since I read it but it was a wonderful read.

This was my favorite book in elementary school/early middle school and I haven’t picked it up since then. I forgot how heavy handed the religious aspects were, and that it’s written by a 14 year old. Not a bad book per se given those two qualities, just not my cup of tea anymore 20 years later.

It’s definitely written by a teenager but I guess that’s the point.
