What did Benjamin Dean put in this book? Because I need to source more of it. Right now.
The only other book that has made me feel the way this one has is Heartstopper Volume 4, so maybe gay kids having a good time is my coping mechanism idk. Objectively, this book was not five stars. The beginning was a bit slow and the ending was a bit whatever. However. When I am *sobbing* at a children's book and then smiling uncontrollably ten pages later, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to say other than 10/10, would do again. The whole thing was so wholesome, the characters were adorable and it was ahrhoiaernhfolr but irl. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm articulating what this book makes me feel, nor why it makes me feel that way, very well at all, so I'm going to shut up and tell you all to go read it because frankly it's the most fun I've had reading a book in a while and may have revived me from a Shatter Me-induced reading slump (but I wouldn't want to speak too soon,,,)

This was so lush. I adored Bea and her determination to do something lovely for her sister, even though she was struggling herself. One of the characters made me want to rip her head off, but the rest were wonderful, especially gran who made me cackle many times. Thoroughly enjoyed this absolute delight of a book.
