So, I really wasn't a fan of how this started. It just felt very different from the last issues and initially came across very forced, but James Tynion IV really won me over with how he connected everything and the explanations for why things are the way they are. But I felt that this on-page LGBT+ rep was a lot better than the previous volume.

This series was so good. I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to read it and I’m so sad it’s over 😭

The way this comic went from crazy fantasy world building to adorable soft romance was *chef’s kiss*. The effortlessness of the representation throughout really stood out to me because it was that moment of “huh so it really is that easy.” I would read 100 volumes of this, all the content please.
