A slow burner. Not my jam, but at least I can't be blamed for not trying new genres

It was okay. I got a bit bored and found there was a lot of description which wasn't necessary or helping the story along so wanted to skim read through it a bit. Towards the end I just wanted to get it finished. Found it hard to connect with the characters as there wasn't much written to grip the reader and pull them into their relationship. Overall the story was just a bit sad as well, in a kind of disappointing way where I didn't really find it entertaining

Very good ending and beginning, but personally I found the middle a bit long and drawn out since the storyline at that point was a bit predictable. I found this book at a train station as part of its marketing campaign, such a good idea!! Overall, worth a read.
