Heavyyyy! This book brought so many emotions out of me. Frustration and sadness are two of the main ones. Tiffany you did your thang with this. Praying for all the children of color that feel like no one notices they’re missing.

This story ripped me to my core. A story about abuse, trauma, and friendship. Monday and Claudia are soul sisters for life.

What would you do if you hadn't heard from your best friend all summer, her phone is disconnected, and no one seems to know where she is? This is the situation that Claudia finds herself in with her best friend, Monday. Claudia can't seem to figure out why no one is concerned about Monday not being in school or Monday's mom not being cooperative. This book is broken up into months and skips between the before and after, which makes it a little hard to follow at times. It also covers some heavy topics like child abuse, which may be triggering to some. Overall, it was a good book but may be better suited for more mature readers.
