I have been looking forward to his book since the very first book and I am so disappointed. I hate his love... Angie? I can’t even remember her name. I’m sad about this one.

I absolutely love Kristen Painter's Nocturne Falls series. In this one, book eight, Julian is finally featured! The third of the Ellingham boys/vampires and notorious playboy, he's finally found the woman he wants to settle down with. At first, I wasn't sure I would connect with Desi... had the same worry about the previous heroine in book 7 since they both came from that glitzy Las Vegas lifestyle rather than the more humble backgrounds of some of the previous characters, but she completely grew on me, and I loved watching her and Julian genuinely grow together. And as a bonus, this one contained plenty of Bertie, Sheriff Hank's wacky werewolf aunt! Loved it.

Please excuse typos. Entered on screen reader.

Fun, fast paced, cute romance with just a little suspense. Entertaining and cozy. I really enjoy this series when I need something light.

5-star Bertie adventures, 2-stars for Julien's understanding of what drunk people can legally agree to. You can't marry or divorce drunk people, Julien.

I’ve been waiting to read Julian’s book since he was first introduced. I wanted to know who would win over the sexy young Ellingham brother who is supposedly a player. 🙂 At least that is what everyone in Nocturne Falls thought he was, until the real Julian came out in The Vampire’s Accidental Wife. In fact, he actually went off and got married and didn’t tell anyone. He got himself hitched to the beautiful vampire Desdemona Valentine, who happens to have a show in Las Vegas. She’s a vampire pretending to be a vampire and I really enjoyed getting to know the beautiful Desdemona since she won over Julian.

I give this book 5 stars and can say I’m beyond ecstatic that Julian finally got his HEA. Thank you, Kristen for giving Julian his happiness. 🙂

Julian Ellingham has been the carefree playboy baby of the Ellingham vampire family -- until he meets sexy Vegas headliner (and fellow vampire) Desdemona Valentine. He falls for her in a heartbeat, but her past trauma has made her avoid all relationships -- until she needs his help evading a stalker.

So, parts of this book I really like. I like the ending, especially with
Spoiler all of the magical women of the town coming together for the spell
, and I'm happy to read about Julian's happy ending. But I have a hard time connecting to Desi. Even after she knows she has a potentially dangerous stalker, she still wanders around town like she doesn't have a care in the world. That part really bugged me. I like her spunk and bravery, but I can't really connect with the Vegas pizzazz side of her.

I am 1/2 way done and what a snooze. She absolute "cannot fall in love" because of her past according to her and he falls for her before the book began so I have no idea what he really sees in her. Both are painted somewhat haughty. Luckily it is short.
