This was actually super interesting to read.

Edward is pretty introspective, if a bit tedious at times since he has the mind of an early 1900s 17 year old. But you get a lot of interesting tidbits throughout the whole (very) long book. And since we're seeing things through Edwards eyes, a lot of Bella's flaws get brushed over in rose tint.

But, at the end of the day, it's still Twilight so you can't expect much from the dialogue and the story itself but worth a read if you're curious - I'd read Edwards perspective of the other books too.

Nebude třeba Nový měsíc z pohledu Jacoba Blacka? To by se mi líbilo určitě mnohem víc než Půlnoční slunce.

I enjoyed this book a lot. Having read the Twilight Saga MANY times, this book wasn't exactly a page turner for me because I already knew what happened. However, it added so much more depth and perspective to the story that I've loved for so long - especially in the latter half. I really loved the ability to see things through Edward's eyes, or in many cases, others' minds through his haha.

Wow Edward.
I love reading his POV, love the way his thoughts are so complicated over Bella.

✨REVIEW✨

⭐️⭐️⭐️

After rereading the Twilight series a few years ago, it was clear that I wasn’t able to enjoy the books the same way when I was 16. Which is why I was a bit hesitant to pick up Midnight Sun. But I did it nonetheless and have no regrets.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I actually enjoyed listening to Edward’s side of the story. Edward’s ability to read minds is what makes this book different from its predecessors. It’s truly interesting to be able to listen to other people’s thoughts from his POV.
If I’m being honest, I found him to be a more likeable protagonist than Bella.

This book was a solid 3 stars for me, so if you’re in the market for some nostalgia, I recommend you pick up this book and let it take you back to Forks.
