Liked it but didn't love it. I had trouble connecting with the characters. It was a good, quick read.

This novel of family dynamics (especially between two sisters), combined with yummy food descriptions and recipes made for a good read while sitting on my sunny deck.

As always, Kendrick delivers a great read. I love all of her stuff. She is one of the best chick lit authors out there, in my opinion. This book had me engaged and laughing in parts. I definitely recommend this one to everyone.

Loved all the characters in this story. They were flawed and realistic. Loved Grammy Syl’s treachery and how she manipulated the situations to further her plans. Loved the baking part too and the competition, which is so relevant in today’s world of culinary competitions.

This was a nice, easy read. A good book if you aren't in the mood for having to think to hard and just want to enjoy a nice book.

This book is wonderful for anyone who has a sibling that they don't get along with. It's such a great story of 2 sisters who come together (after a long time) because of their grandmother, who is a really awesome character. It's funny and sweet and even a little serious.

If you're looking for the quintessential summer read, look no further! Beth Kendrick serves up a frothy dish full of sibling rivalry, cutthroat baking competitions, and lots of laughs.

Beth Kendrick is one of my favorite writes and she's hit another home run with this book. I can't even count the number of times I lol'd while reading. This is definitely in my Top 3 favorite books that she's written (My Favorite Mistake and Nearlyweds rounding out that list -- in no particular order).

Recommended!

Super cute book! A very easy read. Light&fluffy material, yet still an interesting story line.

Sure, it's not a literary masterpiece or quite realistic (SPOILER; why/how did Grammy Syl get her brooch back? How is vanilla the secret ingredient to the pie? Why would Cam like Linnie when I can't quite muster up the tolerance?), but it was still quite enjoyable.
