I saw Claudia Jeesie recommend this book and felt really inspired by her excitement about it.
It’s a perfect little story to warm your heart up and woke up your hunger for some baked goods. The characters are loveable and interesting. Although I didn’t feel that there was enough depth and details for their story. I was craving more.
But the atmosphere is immaculate. I’ve felt everything that was happening in the book as if I was right there with the characters. It was really hard to read being on a diet and not being able to eat that perfect cinnamon roll myself.

Timblet is da best character ever 💜

So the story is cute, the characters are cute. It lacks depth in some places, but reading the book was pleasant experience.

Oh My God this book is soooo cute. To be completely honest I was not expecting much from this read. Turn out to be my favorite book of the month.

This is a comfort book: beverages, pastries, friendship, loyalty and love - all the right ingredients to make the perfect story. Every single characters as their own personality but (almost) all of them are willing to put differences aside to make thing work. I loved it!

I want to read more books from Travis Baldree!
