The story was good, the annotations felt a little too scholarly and like they were just padding at times.

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is one that has been on my list to read forever.
I really enjoyed the dark atmospheric gothic and poetic writing in this book. Some of the stories were distracting and hard to follow along for me. I can see why this is so often referenced in stories today.
For me there were a couple gems.

Great psychological book about the changes of personality of a person. Good story (if somewhat small) and good characters. Unforgettably it was briefed and suffered for it. A must read to anyone who wants to learn about the human mind.
