My favorite Bergman brother book to date. I just adored Axel and loved the ways he shared his love with Rooney.

Finallyyyy, couldn’t wait to read Axel and Rooney’s story from the moment I read their first interaction. Again another beautifully written book, this time shining a light on chronic illness and autism. I don’t know what Chloe Liese is putting in these books because I can’t put them down!!

Tropes/Themes:
-MF contemporary romance
-Marriage of convenience
-Secret pact/relationship
-Friends to lovers
-Opposites attract
-Forced proximity
-Chronic illness/disability rep (autism, Crohn’s Disease)
-Own voices author
-Dual POV
-Book #4 in an interconnected standalone series (each book features a different sibling of the Bergman family)
Not my favorite, but another solid installment to the series. Also, obsessed with these new covers.

i wanted to love it so badly but i felt like there was barely any plot. so far i have loved every chloe liese book and i would consider her one of my favourite authors but the plot did nothing for me. throughout the series, i have grown fond of both axel, rooney and the bergmans as individuals but this book didn’t interest me as much as the others.
