Emily Henry never disappoints. This book was everything I wanted to read right now: good banter, black cat ML, ambitious FL, off the charts chemistry. What I didn’t expect but was elated to read was the bond between the sisters and how attached they were.

The story started off in NYC where FL is literary agent and ML is editor, their first meet left things quite sour between them and that started the hatred(only from FL side of course) but eventually they end up in the one place they last expected. Little by little, piece by piece, the chemistry is realised and the slow burnn, author made us waitt. What a suffering it was though.
I don’t want to ruin the book, so future Saloni if you want that gooey, 1 am giggling, kicking legs in the air, high high high standards, read it again.

Quite literally the best book I have ever read that is just regular romance whatever lol. The characters were extremely likable, it was so relatable, and just downright had me in tears at the end. Beautifully done and can’t wait to read more of her work!

As a person from a small town I was really annoyed with Nora in the beginning and her “only New York is enough” attitude. But as you read further you get to understand her more and also to really love her. Sometimes she makes unreasonable choices and says things that seem selfish, but you always get to understand where it comes from. A bit hard and frankly boring to get into, but I absolutely loved the second half. Unique and not too predictable ending either and as always with EH books the banter is top tier. Charlie Lastra 4ever!!<3

This book is on my TBR for 2024, and oh my, I’m so disappointed. Boring, cliché, exhausting, not engaging…

This one grew on me, a little slow in the middle but loved the end
