I really loved it! A little slow in parts but really enjoyed the “fighting the trope” aspect of the love story. I think this is my favorite of Emily’s books thus far!

Reading this book I felt like a teenager with a summer crush. I liked that it had some sense of mystery because we don't know what's going on with the sister untill the end. The only part that bothers me a little is the "I'm not like others". I understand that the premise is about a girl on the other side of the usual love story but it kept creeping back in monologues in a way that made me cringe. Aside from that I thoroughly enjoyed it.
