I don't understand Ruby's keenness on keeping a low profile and not mixing up family and school. I guess it's what the book needs to work, but I don't see the harm on people noticing you or on telling your sister your day sucked for this or that reason.
I enjoyed the snippets into secondary characters lives, in fact, I would like more of them, even having several other points of view.

Yo empecé este libro con expectativas medias, pero ha terminado siendo toda una sorpresa. Es el típico libro que, si tienes tiempo, se devora de una sentada. Ha sido como volver un poco a la adolescencia, pero ese final... James, yo te parto las piernas en cuatro cachos.

OMG THAT WAS INSANE???? i remember finding the adaptation cringe but this is amazing wtf i was hooked from beginning to the end and i thought some scenes were really well written

erinnert mich irgendwie an meine Telenovelas, die ich so liebe, nur halt über eine Eliteschule in England statt ein Hotel irgendwo in Deutschland und mit einer ordentlichen Portion Cringe, weil Romance und insbesondere Smut auf Deutsch sich einfach fürchterlich liest … nicht dass das Buch da was zu könnte (zumal ich den Schreibstil ansonsten echt super fand!). ansonsten ist "wie meine Telenovelas" 100% ein Kompliment. und gut, dass sich die Autorin in der Danksagung für das Ende entschuldigt hat, weil AAAAAAAAAAARGH >:(((( sehr gemein!!!!!
