Noy giving it a full 5 stars only because of the unrealistic romantic expectations this could build for shy teen girls (said as an ex shy teen girl). But i gotta admit this book brought out the giggly giddy romantic fluffy side of me. She's buried deep.

Es war ein typisches Jugendbuch: Elite-Schule, reicher Typ ist gemein zu armen Mädchen, die beiden verlieben sich ineinander. Was ich an der Story mochte, waren die Details. Beispielsweise das Bullet Journal von Ruby oder dass der Vater im Rollstuhl sitzt. Doch so fies wie James und seine Schwester zu Beginn sind, das mag ich gar nicht (auch, wenn es eine gute Enemies to lovers story ergab), so ein Verhalten ist für mich immer schwer nachvollziehbar. Seine Wandlung von "Fiesling" zu "Verliebtheit" und "Freundlichkeit" war für mich nicht ganz ersichtlich.

Sencillito de leer.

Una novela romántica juvenil bastante poco emocionante. Aunque he leído el libro en apenas un día y medio no creo que haya sido por lo que me ha enganchado sino por su sencillez. No tiene apenas giros la trama, es muy predecible y los personajes no tienen nada característico que les haga meramente recordables.

Si no le doy las 2 estrellas es porque el final, en las últimas 5 páginas, tiene un plot twist que al menos te deja un poco con las ganas de seguir aunque, desde luego, no creo que vaya a ser mi caso.

Was it the best written book ever? No. Did I stay up all night reading it? Yes. It took me a bit to get into and then I was hooked and couldn't stop until I finished it. I really like Ruby and how she stood up for herself. I had a love/hate thing with James. I think most people will. I really liked Lin and Lydia. I could not stand the other guys in this book. I found them to be completely immature and annoying. Thanks NetGalley for the advanced read.
